Chris’s interest in dolls houses and miniatures started about 2001, when she was coming up to retirement age. Then in 2004, after she had really got involved in the hobby and with a few more dolls houses, Chris decided to start the business Dollshouse Mania. Bob and Louise joined her later making this a real family business.
Today, Dollshouse Mania is probably the largest specialised dolls house and dolls house miniatures outlet in the UK, with over 12,000 different items to choose from. Chris says that it is still a family business, where customer satisfaction is very important.
